About
St Peter in Chains Community Centre has a large hall, a separate entrance, large foyer and access to kitchen facilities and toilets (including disabled and baby changing facilities) and is available for community use and private hire (family celebrations, funeral breakfasts, etc).
Located directly across from the seafront, it is easily accessed by both trains and buses and has ample parking.
Prices are very competitive, and discounts are made for charitable organisations or other churches. The Hall is available for regular meetings throughout the year, and for special events, i.e. social gatherings, local heritage meetings and educational sessions.
The Hall is used daily by parishioners from St Peter’s, but mostly from the wider community in Ardrossan and Saltcoats. The Hall is used by very diverse groups, including all ages: from pensioners to toddlers, from teenagers to young adults.
With the help of different charities and suppliers, we have been able to develop an ongoing programme for renovations, keeping the Hall up-to-date and attractive for the diverse groups, which use its facilities. Recently, the kitchen area, the gents’ and ladies’ toilets, and the disabled toilet, have been improved and renovated with great success.
